ZIMNICE is a project of singer, composer and musician Kateřina Göttlichová, on which she has innovatively set texts of Moravian and Czech folk songs in combination with a modern understanding of tradition.
She is no stranger to pop, rock and light touches of electronics and has enriched her sound with the Nordic instrument nyckelharpa.
With a sensitive compositional approach, she brings new contrasts and emotional context to the themes and stories of age-old lyrics.
